Luxury Bras Sewing SPECIAL LONDON

Join us this for an intensive Lingerie sewing SPECIAL here in the London studio.

Learn step by step how to sew different types of high-end bras and design & sew your own bra in your size during this intensive masterclass.
Alternatively this course is perfect for developing high end samples or a full collection.

Learn ho to sew with luxurious laces, silks and specialist lingerie fabrics to create a high end finish.
Choose from a wide range of high end materials in the classroom and make your dream underwear/ collection with help from the experts.

This masterclass runs over 4-5 weeks and is divided in 2x 2 days in our London classroom .
Students will be able to finish their bras in their own time between the sessions with additional live calls from the tutor (if needed)

The aim of this masterclass is to develope high end Lingerie Sewing skills for professionals or sewing enthusiasts.

Each student should have finished 3-4 bra types during this masterclass
Including:
a Soft Bra / Darted Bra / Partial Band Bra / Full Band Bra

other style options can be Foam Cups / padded bras etc

Or you can make :
1-2 bra types + different panty types to create luxury matching sets

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
- bra anatomy
- bra fit
- how to sew with stretch fabrics
- how to use correct stitch options for elastics
- how to calculate elastic trims for lingerie
- how to attach/sew with fine laces, silks, lace appliques etc
- how to cut fabrics
- various technical construction types for different bra styles
- how to sew an underwired bra(s)
- how to attach hook and eyes
- couture sewing techniques such as lace applique (optional)
- guidance with your design ideas (optional)
- how to do (minor) pattern alterations to create your own bra style (depending on your previous pattern cutting skills) (optional)
- new sewing /design/ product development skills

WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE:
- 1x soft bra pattern (non wired)
- 1x darted bra pattern
- 1x (balconette) bra pattern
- 1x bra pattern in your size and preferred style
- list of lingerie material suppliers
- a choice of specialist materials to choose from in the classroom.
Including : fine laces, elastics, high quality intimate apparel fabrics & components
You might be asked to bring some additional materials -depending on your individual sewing projects and ideas.

- Introduction-

- how to sew with stretch fabrics

- how to use correct stitch options for elastics

- how to calculate elastic trims for lingerie

- how to attach/sew with fine laces, silks, lace appliques etc

- choose a fabric and start cutting a soft bra

- how to cut delicate fabrics easily

- prepare pattern pieces

- start sewing your bra

1STSUNDAY -darted bra- 14SEPT 2025

-continue your personal project with the help of the tutor:
sew , research, design from home in your own time towards your next session in person
Students will have the chance to join live chat / video calls with their tutor to discuss progress, and receive advice

2ND SUNDAY 19OCT 2025
- start /finish your own bra design

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO JOIN:
We suggest that you do have good to advanced sewing skills to get most out of this class.

Otherwise all high end fabrics , elastics, laces , tools and sewing machines will be provided for you in the classroom.
You are also welcome to bring your own sewing machine: please let us know in advance , if you prefer to do so.
You can also rent one of the sewing machines from the classroom if you will need an extra sewing machine during the week. Please let us know in advance

PLEASE NOTE:

All classes are deliberately small with a maximum of 5 students only to provide individual attention to each student.
Light refreshments & hand santizers etc are available througout the day to keep everyone happy and safe.

REFUNDS:

Please let us know in advance if you can not attend any session and we will do our very best to transfer you to the next available session instead.
