- Why should I book a class with LMC?
Contour Fashion is a complex subject and we do specialize in high end Lingerie making & design workshops for over 10 years now. Providing you with highest quality supplies and a selection of pure silks and couture laces in our advanced / weekend masterclasses.
All classes are kept very small , to focus on each individual student during the workshops.
This is why we can give you individual expert advice and insider tips in all related subjects within the designing and making of stunning high end Underwear and Swimwear.
We also show you commercial finishing techniques and explain the PROS & CONS
- How and what will you teach?
During the masterclasses you will learn step-by-step how to sew/ design / pattern cut lingerie with a focus on high end finishing techniques and designs from experts with over 15 years experience in high fashion / intimate apparel

- How big are the masterclasses?
We run deliberately small classes with a maximum of 6students will ensure that each student will get individual attention and excellent tuition throughout each workshop. PLEASE note :during the pandemic we only accept a max of 3 students to provide plenty of extra space/distance in the classroom when sewing
We do'nt believe in running large classes where there is not enough time to focus on each student.

We are always happy to customize classes if possible and also run one2one sessions.
- Do you offer private tuition?
Yes we do.
- I will visit the UK from abroad and like to learn at LMC, but can not find any dates during my stay.
If you are planning to join us from abroad then please get in touch with your travel dates:
We can run masterclasses for our overseas students here in London during their visits in Europe.
Please get in touch at least 12weeks in advance.
Private sessions can be booked within a much shorter notice and this option is also available online.
- Will you provide hand outs ?
Each student will receive hand outs during the workshops to make things easier to remember and to understand.
We always recommend to take notes during the workshops though.
- Do I need to bring my sewing machine?
all sewing machines and other special equipment will be provided in the classroom.
- What fabrics will you provide?
Students can choose from a selection of high quality specialist lingerie supplies in the classroom.
Other then in most workshops elsewhere, we encourage our students to choose their own materials in the classroom to learn how to cut and work with different fabrics and to create their own unique underwear in lace, silk, mesh etc
We also proudly provide a large range very high end lingerie materials including :
pure silks, fine lingerie laces & elastics etc.
Silks can/will be used in any of the 2 or 3 day masterclasses.
- Will you provide patterns?
Yes , you will keep a pattern copy so that you can continue creating more stunning lingerie in your own time after the workshops.
We also offer some pdf patterns here on the website that you can buy and use
By the end of each masterclass each student should have a luxurious piece of lingerie made by themselves to take home and has made a range samples to keep as reference for future sewing projects.
- Where will the workshop be held?
Islington (just 1 minute walk from Archway Station /Northern Line)
Busses: 4, 41, 143, 263, 390, C11, W5,
43, 134, 210, 271 stop within 3 minutes walk to the studio.
We are only only 10 min away from Kings Cross / St Pancras
