Students can continue throughout the week to work on their stays from home and will receive tutorial support via live chat if needed.

all specialist materials,sewing machines and tools will be provided in the London classroom:
Students can choose from a range of fabrics,laces and decorations in the classroom and are encouraged to create their individual styles. You can bring along your own decorations or fabrics.
Please let us know if you like to bring along your own sewing machine.

- all quality corsetry supplies that you will need in the classroom
- specialist fabrics / tapes/ binding

Outline of this masterclass:

DAY 1:
-Introduction
-explore the history of corsetry and stays
-fabric overview: what fabrics to choose
-choose a fabric in the classroom and start cutting your stays
- start sewing your stays

DAY 2:
-corset boning overview : what boning works best
- how to insert boning to the stays
- continue sewing the stays + fitting
- fitting and altering stays if needed

DAY3 :
- continue sewing your corset
- edging the stays (tabs)
- insert eyelets
- add any decorations (optional)
